ACCESSIBILITY
Our space is currently NOT wheelchair accessible (we are located down about 20 steep stairs, in the Seattle Underground).
We have commercial HEPA-certified air purifiers throughout the entire space, including studios.
We offer individually packaged KN95 masks and individually packaged hand sanitizer for free at all events.
Our staff is vaccinated.
We sanitize surfaces such as chairs, countertops and other high-contact items/zones after every event and class.
We turn away individuals who are ill-- this includes passive mentions of recent or lingering illness, and applies to everyone, including staff and volunteers.
Many of our events have moving lights, but we abstain from strobes for photosensitive individuals.
Additionally, many events have 'fog' or 'haze'-- if this is a known allergen or irritant for you, please check the particular event accessibility tab on Eventbrite when RSVPing to see whether or not it will be present.
Don’t be afraid to reach out and ask about particulars if you are concerned or require more information.
We are still a new space, and construction, ADA projects, etc are still ongoing. We are doing our best as resources such as volunteers and funding become available.
While taking into account the realities of our lack of funding and ventilation, we are ALWAYS working towards ensuring a safe environment for everyone we possibly can.
However, we are not currently grant funded-- and likely will not be until late 2025/2026 (at the very, very earliest). We work with what we have.
We are 100% volunteer run, and individual donation based (with an average donation of incoming individuals being just over $2).
Please be patient as we do our best to create and fund a more fully accessible space, and take into account that for the severely immunocompromised, any event indoors poses a significantly higher risk of respiratory disease transmission.
